Senior HSEQ - Advisor

The Senior Advisor – HSEQ Surface Mining Australia’s role is based out of the Perth Corporate office, however the role will require frequent ad hoc travel to Surface Mining sites, across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on Surface Mining system compliance and implementation.
• Develop, mentor, provide guidance and support to the site HSEQ and Leadership teams, to ensure they meet required KPIs, reporting requirements and align with the Surface Mining Business Units strategic plans and Macmahon Integrated Management System Standards.
• Assist in the management of site start-ups and where required develop relevant systems documentation and assist in site implementation .
• Support, review and provide guidance to site operational HSEQ and leadership teams on ICAM investigations.

Requirements

• Diploma of WHS or higher
• Demonstrated leadership skills and competency
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge and skills related to processes and methods of work
