The CSP Studies Team are seeking a Senior Advisor CSP Studies Life of Mine Planning to support and plan the CSP/HTPO deliverables into studies. Reporting to the Manager CSP Studies the role will be accountable for developing processes and inputs to feed into development pathway planning/decisions and across the CSP Function. Responsibilities will include:
- Development pathway – responsible for mid-long term scheduling/planning/coordination of CSP/HTOP inputs to support long term strategic planning.
- Coordinate schedules and prioritization process to support CSP studies strategy
- Interface closely with the Heritage, Approvals and Study Planning teams to integrate work programs
- Development and implementation of CSP strategy to support development pathway planning inputs
- Coordination of CSP/HTOP inputs into studies/approvals decision/escalation papers
- Strategic development and business improvement activities to support CSP studies
- Represent the CSP tam in planning and strategic discussion forums
- Data analysis and reporting
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for the role you will demonstrate:
- Experience in project management/planning/scheduling
- A background in change management /business improvement
- Well developed strategic, problem solving, data analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills and proven capability to work with a range of stakeholders across multiple functions and bring teams together to deliver outcomes
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Desire to work within the CSP Function and be part of shaping how Rio engages with communities and Traditional Owners.
- A understanding of Rio Tinto Iron Ore systems, processes and governance requirements would be highly regarded.
