About the role
We are looking for a Senior Advisor Process Development to support flowsheet development and optimisation projects.
This is a great opportunity to develop your career in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy. You will be working on desktop studies and laboratory and pilot scale testwork programs.

Reporting to the Manager Processing and Facilities working in a flexible supportive environment within the Technical Development team, you will:
- Plan, conduct and lead complex process development/optimisation projects
- Coordinate and provide guidance/training to technicians and advisors assigned to projects
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive a culture of participation and improvement
- Work independently or as part of a diverse team
What you will bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A tertiary qualification in Metallurgical Engineering, Minerals Processing Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and at least 7 years’ relevant experience
- Strong data analysis skills
- Strong problem solving ability incorporating troubleshooting of technical and complex issues
- Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Experience in solution chemistry
- Process flowsheet modelling with either SysCAD and/or Metsim
- Good understanding of sampling theory and experimental statistical analysis/design
