  • Make your mark in a high-demand space – Join a team where your contributions will be visible, valued, and essential to the organisation’s identity strategy.

  • Permanent, full-time role based in Brisbane or Perth - Australia.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven SailPoint / IGA Service Owner to lead the operational delivery, support, and continuous improvement of our Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) capabilities.

You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary point of escalation for SailPoint’s Identity Security Cloud (ISC) — formerly known as IdentityNow — and related IGA services across the enterprise.

In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day operations and health of the IGA platform, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient identity services that align to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Service Ownership & Operations

  • Act as the end-to-end owner of SailPoint ISC (IdentityNow) and supporting IGA services.

  • Serve as the operational escalation point for incidents, issues, and service reliability concerns.

  • Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Monitor and maintain platform health, supporting key functions like access reviews, joiner/mover/leaver processes, and provisioning.

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Provide deep knowledge and hands-on experience in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (formerly IdentityNow).

  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams to influence platform design, configurations, and roadmap decisions.

  • Keep abreast of product developments and emerging IGA trends to ensure best practices are applied.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with key teams such as HR, IT, Cybersecurity, and Application Owners to support seamless identity lifecycle management.

  • Support audit, compliance, and security reporting activities as needed.

Continuous Improvement & Change Management

  • Own and manage a backlog of service improvements and platform optimizations.

  • Coordinate and implement configuration updates, certification campaign refinements, and policy updates.

  • Liaise with SailPoint and implementation partners for escalated support and roadmap enhancements.

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation (runbooks, knowledge articles, SOPs, etc.).

  • Ensure strong operational governance and compliance with internal security standards and frameworks.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrable experience with SailPoint IdentityNow / Identity Security Cloud (ISC) or similar IGA toolset.

  • Proven experience managing or supporting IAM/IGA services in an enterprise setting.

  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle automation, access certifications, roles/entitlements, and policy enforcement.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (especially incident, change, and problem management).

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex identity-related issues across systems and integrations.

  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with business and technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • SailPoint certifications (e.g., ISC Certified Implementation Engineer or Architect).

  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday), with regards to their importance to an IGA solution and downstream application onboarding.

  • Knowledge of scripting, REST APIs, or data transform logic.

  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR).

What we offer

  • We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests. Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you, including requests for part time hours.

  • Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you have helped the world progress.

  • An excellent base salary reflective of your skills and experience with annual incentive program.

  • Comprehensive medical benefits including subsidised private health insurance for employees and immediate family.

  • Attractive share ownership plan.

  • Extensive salary sacrifice & salary packaging options.

  • Career development & education assistance to further your technical or leadership ambitions.

  • Exclusive employee discounts (banking, accommodation, cars, retail and more).

  • Domestic relocation if required.
