We are looking a Senior Advisor - Service Delivery, for a 12-month fixed term contract/secondment in the Perth or Brisbane office. This role will be responsible for supporting processes within a large, complex, high volume employee data maintenance and payroll function within the APAC region.

This role is a great opportunity for a dynamic Senior Advisor of payroll and employee data management who is a true collaborator with a continuous improvement mindset. Our Employee Support and Payroll Services roles are fast paced, challenging, and supported by Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). In this role you will:

  • Provide technical and process guidance to employee data and payroll services team members (includes BPO)
  • Drive performance of BPO provider against internal KPI’s
  • Support a team to deliver on-time day-to-day payroll and local regulatory compliance activities
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, internal control standards and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to lead the resolution of complex payroll and/or employee data queries, including the delivery of ad hoc business requirements
  • Identify, lead, and assist with the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Management of internal business objectives
  • Collaborate with global ESPS leadership to ensure alignment of process and function

 What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in payroll activities with a comprehensive understanding of relevant Australian payroll legislation and superannuation
  • Knowledge of relevant Singapore payroll legislation and pension
  • Employee data management within a large organisation experience desirable
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar system within a payroll environment of at least 1000+ employees
  • Proven experience in generalist Human Resources policies and activities
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement culture and have a strong commitment to team-based processes and outcomes
  • Capacity and versatility to operate in a large and dynamic organisation which involves delivering business objectives remotely and across a diverse workforce
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and consultation skills along with managing your time to deliver priorities with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to support a diverse high performing team with multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to make informed decisions with a risk based approach to deliver desired outcomes
  • Flexibility to work in a global team across multiple time zones specifically Australia
  • Works with appropriate Groups (People Expertise and Areas of expertise) where required to exchange information and resources.
  • Reviews practices and operational performance metrics and develop strategies to increase capability, effectiveness and efficiency across both the retained and outsourced service organisations

Where you’ll be working

This role will be part of the Group Services Employee Support and Payroll Services team; this is a global team with team members across all our major hubs. This role will be based in Brisbane or Perth and require close partnership with other regional teams such as People Services who provide HR advisory, global mobility, talent acquisition and and recruitment, employee relations, remuneration and performance services to leaders, employees & HR business partners.
