Senior Business Analyst – Reporting and Analytics
Work location: Perth WA
Roster: Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for business process maps and practices.
- Deliver continuous improvements based on the strategic vision and daily operational needs of business end users for system tools.
- Create and maintain documentation (including requirements, design and user manuals), policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data.
- Design, develop, implement and maintain a high level of understanding of SAP manufacturing module.
- Oversee the data warehouse, including the collection and utilisation of all data.
- Attention to detail, ensure the integrity of data from SAP to the reporting tools.
- Manage the reporting updated to meeting reporting deadlines.
- Ensuring synergies between Business Units and Corporate
- Foster and leverage relationships across the organization.
- Role provides internal reporting oversight with focus on performance of actual costs against budget/forecast costs, supported by visual presentation to show cost trend using Power Bi and Anaplan.
- improve efficiency and effectiveness of the management accounting and commercial department services through continuous improvement of processes (e.g. Monthly, budget/forecast and project to completion reporting, alignment with corporate reports)
- Lead the engagement with workstream leads to coordinate development of data infrastructures and alignment in cost centre hierarchy in SAP.
- Management of FFI’s master data for Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Cost Centres, delegation of authority, WBS cost definitions, Company code transition in line with changes to company/business structure.
- Support delivery of organisation monthly management report and quarterly forecast presentation pack.
- Lead the development of automating and streamlining financial data reporting and Intertec (Time sheets), using advanced data analytics, Power Bi and Anaplan.
- Actively participate in the development and use of Time sheeting - Bulk COC changes payroll mapping, managing recoverable in Anaplan.
- Interaction between Anaplan models and corporate reporting, ensuring data integrity.
- Key custodian of the Green Industry Anaplan models - manage accesses, development (timeline), improvements, housekeeping key contact for and between FFI Industry management accountants and FPM team.
- Lead the engagement with workstream project cost controllers to coordinate development of data infrastructure and alignment in cost hierarchy.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), visualizations, and analysis solutions using various reporting tools.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
- 5 – 7 Years in commercial/finance accounting or corporate finance function
- Experience with process mapping, and agile delivery of system development
- Experienced with Anaplan, Power Bi
- Experience with SAP (intermediate) – FI/CO Project System (PS)module with some knowledge of MM, BW and other modules, Manufacturing configuration (desirable), SAP S/4 Hana (desirable).
- Advanced Excel skills
- Intermediate to advanced data visualization skills, using Power BI and Anaplan. Working towards or have achieved Anaplan Model Certification desirable, good working of Anaplan modelling would be beneficial.
- Highly skilled in manipulating data with advanced problem-solving and business analysis techniques.
- Team orientated with strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop influential and positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Business partnering embedding within the FFI/FMG FPM systems team, working closely with the wider finance team to ensure alignment in finance data/processes, and stakeholder engagement and analysis to work on fit for purpose reports and develop systems.
- Self-starter with a pragmatic and ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving, articulating, and providing solutions.
- Ideally broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, business processes, business tools and the flow of data.
- An ideal candidate is highly motivated with solid communications, strong leadership, and a keen focus on details skills.
