Senior Commercial Analyst - Iron Bridge

Location: Perth - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: 5:2 – (Monday – Friday)

Role overview:

An opportunity exists for a driven and organised professional to join the Iron Bridge team to assist in financial analysis, valuation, commercial and corporate support. 

Ideally you will be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking, and be prepared to work outside of your comfort zone. You must be driven and passionate about your work and want to enact real change and work on meaningful projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build, maintain and expand financial models
• Engage with operational teams and wide range of stakeholders to gather and define critical data
• Provide commercial support to enable decision making on strategic opportunities
• Financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Development of presentations and briefing memos for the Joint Venture Committee and senior management

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree or higher in finance, commerce or economics - CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent desirable
• Strong commercial modelling background
• Demonstrated track record in the development of financial models
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts
• Analytical mindset with a holistic approach, strong problem-solving skills and quantitative aptitude
• Experience in financial analysis, modelling and valuations preferred
