Work location: Tysons Corner

Roster: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the development of robust contract strategies for Corporate Services (including consultancy and professional services, labour/ HR, IT/ software, office and property leasing) covering the life cycle of a sourcing activity.
  • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate tender packages for Corporate Services procurement categories.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, to support business objectives and manage risks
  • Work as part of the team to deliver value through competitive sourcing and effective contract management.
  • Conduct sourcing and approval activities in accordance with established Contracts and Procurement policies and procedures.
  • Develop well written, well-structured procurement documentation that supports the sourcing requirements.
  • Provide reports, analyses and advice to support procurement decision-making.
  • Identify and evaluate key risks at contract formation and seek input from other functions as appropriate (e.g. technical, legal, and commercial).
  • Operate within Contracts & Procurement systems, policies and procedures, standard purchase order and contract terms.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple sourcing requests.
  • Strong written skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Well-developed analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, share and transfer knowledge within teams.
  • Able to identify issues, problems, and opportunities; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; keep Manager informed and ask for assistance if required.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a global team (requires working across time zones).

Experience: 

  • 7+ years in procurement, supply chain or  contract administration roles
  • University degree in commerce, business, or law, desirable
