Roster: Monday to Friday
The primary purpose of this role is to support the contracts function for FFI, assisting the Projects team in the development, from initiation to investment, and execution of FFI’s major renewables projects internationally.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the development and presentation of project specific contracting and procurement strategies and plans to the Study Management and Project Execution key stakeholders.
- Support and facilitate the integration of centralised global procurement strategies into the regional and project specific contracting and procurement plans.
- Oversee the development, coordination, and evaluation of tender packages for pre-feasibility, feasibility and execution phases of Projects including studies for engineering, environmental, social, site investigations, construction, and procurement contracts.
- Support and oversee the negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
- Ensure the teams procurement activities are in accordance with established Contracts and Procurement policies and procedures and continually focus on improving process and procedure where possible.
- Review of procurement documentation that supports the project requirements developed by the team.
- Identify and maximise opportunities to achieve regional objectives.
Qualifications and skills required:
- +8 years’ experience in Contracts within major projects and/or energy industries (renewable energy experience desirable).
- Experience in Front End Engineering Design and major EPC Contracts desirable.
- Bachelor degree in commerce, business, law, or construction desirable.
- Chartership by recognised body desirable (e.g. RICS, CIPS or Legal).
