Senior Developer - Autonomy
Work Location: Fortescue Centre & Bennett St. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday-Friday
Role overview:
We currently require a front end and a back end Senior Developer for 2 positions available. The Developer - Autonomy will work within a development team consisting of front-end, back-end and full-stack developers to build algorithms and develop end-user functionality to support the autonomy program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with developers to build algorithms and develop end-user functionality.
- Produce clean, efficient, safe, and quality code based on specifications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the system in various environments.
- Work within an agile environment to deliver against a backlog.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through agile processes.
Qualification and Experience:
- Proven 5+ years’ experience as a Software Developer or similar role.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with the following technologies: C# .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Web API.
- Experience with database technologies: SQL Server.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with microservice architectures and containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Linux systems.
