About the role:

The Senior Dispatcher will provide real time dispatching and monitoring of mining equipment and personnel to ensure efficient use of resources in line with the mine plan and site KPIs. The Senior Dispatcher will act as a central point of communication for mining, CHPP, tech services, Environment and community and maintenance activities The role is responsible for all the dispatch control room activities and provides leadership, guidance, training and coaching to the Dispatch team and greater workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership to the Dispatch team and greater workforce.
• Provide key results to the senior leadership team.
• Comply with site procedures and policies.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of Dispatch.
• Ability to apply trouble shooting skills.
• Validate shift data to ensure accurate records and reporting.
• Liaise with the CHPP, maintenance and production team to ensure operational efficiency.
• Stay across technological advancements in the industry and how they may benefit the operation.

About you:

You are an energetic and focused  mining professional with the following skills and experience

• Previous experience in Modular or other fleet management/ dispatch settings
• Excellent Organisational skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to build and foster strong working relationships
