Reporting to the Supervisor – Site Services, you will play a crucial part in supporting the compliance with electrical standards and legislation, delivering and effective maintenance cycle and coaching and mentoring team members and contractors on high electrical standards.
Responsible for executing activities which ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of critical water, wastewater and power infrastructure in accordance with BHP requirements and operating license parameters.
Conducting regular audits and inspections while also championing our Culture and our "We Care" approach, which underscores our commitment to a positive workplace environment and our dedication to the wellbeing of our employees and the community.
About You
- An Electrical Trade Certification and Electrical License WA, with a good grasp of AS3000.
- Electrical trade background within a heavy industrial, mining resources or minerals processing environment. On-site Plumbing, Refrigeration/Aircon Gas Trade highly desirable.
- Experience maintaining temporary power systems, reverse osmosis plants, wastewater treatment plants and raw water bore field systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop trustworthy relationships and working methods with key stakeholders, including contracting partners on site.
- A professional that is proactive in identifying issues and improvement opportunities, and excellent organisation skills to develop and deliver action plans.
- A “people-person” who takes pride and sharing the knowledge and supporting other team members to achieve common goals.
- Highly proficient using digital tools and software such as Microsoft suite.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, enabling multitasking, prioritisation, and meeting deadlines effectively.
