Senior Engineer - Cyber Security

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Cyber Security to join our team. The Senior Engineer will support the Cyber Systems Lead in delivering and maintaining the Macmahon Cyber Uplift Programme, ensuring operational cyber security tasks are completed to protect the business and maintain continuity.

The Senior Engineer – Cyber Security will be able to:

• Design and implement security solutions in a complex ICT environment. 
• Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers, Switches, WAN/LAN, Monitoring Systems, and Data Loss Prevention. 
• Implement Network Access Control/802.1x for wireless and wired connections. 
• Azure Security hardening and Secure Datacentre Design (Cloud firewalls, Express Route, Azure Load balancers, NSG, Private Endpoints). 

About you

• Degree/diploma in Cyber Security or related certifications (CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security). 
• 10+ years in Systems Admin/Network Engineer/Cyber Engineer roles. 
• Experience with security technologies (NGFW, Wireless Authentication, Endpoint, Email Security, Identity Management, Azure AD, Office 365). 
• Technical proficiency in security hardware and software.
• Contribute to management projects.
