About the Role
Reporting to the Short Term Planning Superintendent, the Senior Drill and Blast Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the drill and blast activities on site.
What You’ll Do
- Develop daily drill plans along with corresponding tie in designs
- Ensure that the drill and blast plans are carried out in accordance with approved budgets and site standards
- Provide technical guidance for all blasting activities on site
- Record shots and results, complete blast reconciliations for all blasts on site
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Mining engineering and understanding of engineering practices
- Experienced in engineering applications in Open Cut mining environment
- Minimum 5+ years exp in a Drill and Blast role
