We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Paraburdoo Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) team. In this role, you will provide technical engineering support, ensuring the safe and reliable maintenance of the heavy mobile equipment fleet. Additionally, you will provide on-going coaching and development to the maintenance department, enabling our people to be their best and continually innovate and challenge the way work is done.
This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to work in a dynamic maintenance environment where you can influence safety and reliability which covers execution, maintenance planning and engineering, whilst developing your operational leadership skills.
Reporting to the Manager MEM you will:
- Identify, lead and drive improvement projects
- Ensure maintenance best practices are safely utilised to maximise equipment reliability and minimise the time and cost of repairs
- Implement and sustain the critical risk management
- Execute and review preventative maintenance planning and scheduling activities
- Engage and collaborate with operational and other key stakeholders
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A passion and enthusiasm to continually improve safety, production and cost
- Tertiary engineering qualifications
- Demonstrated maintenance or reliability engineering experience – previous leadership experience will be advantageous
- Knowledge of maintenance and reliability processes and systems
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and resilient
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS
- A current ‘C’ Class drivers’ licence
