We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our Brockman 4 Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) team. In this role, you will provide technical engineering support, ensuring the safe and reliable maintenance of the heavy mobile equipment fleet. Additionally, you will provide on-going coaching and development to the maintenance department, enabling our people to be their best and continually innovate and challenge the way work is done.

This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to work in a dynamic maintenance environment where you can influence safety and reliability which covers execution, maintenance planning and engineering, whilst developing your operational leadership skills.

Reporting to the Brockman 4 Manager Mobile Equipment Maintenance, you will:

  • Identify, lead and drive improvement in mobile maintenance
  • Ensure maintenance best practices are safely utilised to maximise equipment reliability and minimise the time and cost of repairs
  • Review and optimise preventative maintenance planning and scheduling activities
  • Engage and collaborate with operational and other key stakeholders

What you’ll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: 

  • A passion and enthusiasm to continually improve safety, production and cost
  • Tertiary engineering qualifications or relevant trade certificate with demonstrated technical maintenance/ engineering experience
  • Demonstrated maintenance or reliability engineering experience
  • Knowledge of maintenance and reliability processes and systems
  • The ability to be adaptable, flexible and resilient
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS
  • A current ‘C’ Class drivers’ licence

  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and key stakeholders across the business
