About the role
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead the Tom Price Fixed Plant Process Engineering team. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to lead a diverse team and have a positive impact on a wide stakeholder group.
This will be a Residential based role in Tom Price working Monday to Friday, having every second Friday off. Giving you time to engage in the community, explore the nearby Karijini National Park or do the things that matter to you.
Reporting to the Superintendent Plant Operation Tom Price, you will:
- Lead and guide a team of Process Engineers and Technicians providing technical support to fixed plant operations.
- Support, challenge, and develop team members.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimise production outcomes.
- Champion the FXP reporting process, offering insights and recommendations.
- Prioritise work for sustainable improvements as part of the FXP leadership team.
- Coordinate with MTS and Mining teams to align production plans with FXP and GTP objectives.
- Provide support and guidance during production disturbances to optimise response.
- Accountable for developing and submitting the QPP.
About you
We are looking for a degree qualified self-motivated individual who works well in a team and will bring:

- A degree in Process Engineering, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Strong communication, written and stakeholder management skills
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to problem solve

- A current Australian driver's license
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Experience in data management platforms, including OSI PI and SQL databases
- Experience in Microsoft suite of programs including Power BI (Advanced skills in Excel will be highly regarded)
- A growth mindset & drive, to be open to new ideas to continuously improve and support our Plant, our Team & ourselves
- A ‘C’ class Australian manual driver’s license is required.

Where you will be working
This position is based residentially in Tom Price on a Monday to Friday roster, with every second Friday off.
Tom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees. It is known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a high school, two primary schools a hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities.
