About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Electrician. The successful candidate will be part of the Nelson Point Port Maintenance Team, reporting to the Senior Electrical Area Coordinator for South Yard. This role is Monday - Friday and residential only (Relocation and housing options available)
Duties include but not limited to:
- Drive quality in the Weekly/Shutdown work plan and provide support to maintenance execution teams
- Initiating and / or participating in continuous improvement projects
- Taking responsibility for identifying and resolving problems, and for assessing the potential impact on production, plant and equipment
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the wider electrical teams
- Scoping of technical activities for work to be executed in shutdown outages.
- Provide assistance for identifying execution interactions during Shutdown readiness (Gantt).

About You
- Current WA 'A' Grade Electrical licence
- Valid WA Drivers licence
- Extensive knowledge of current Statutory and Electrical Standards & Procedures, including M.S.I.R, AS compliance and electrical experience in mining
- Experienced 1SAP user
- Highly organised, ability to work unsupervised
- Proven ability to communicate plans clearly and concisely
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in organising and coordinating plant maintenance, projects and shutdowns
- Eligibility to become an Appointed Electrical Supervisor
