Position Title: Senior Fortescue People Advisor/Senior HR Advisor
Work Location: Christmas Creek. Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 4D/3R – FIFO ex Perth
Key Accountabilities:
- Work closely with leadership teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of Fortescue People policies, practices, and procedures that provide an optimal working environment and promote Fortescue’s culture and values.
- Partner with the Manager Employee Relations to design and implement human resource and employee relations strategies in new locations, both nationally and internationally.
- Drive regular Fortescue People initiatives, in line with agreed timelines.
- Initiate, manage and contribute to major Fortescue People reports, projects, committees, reviews and/or continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct workplace investigations, including the facilitation of conciliations with the Fair Work Commission.
- Support and facilitate leadership development training.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Tertiary qualification in human resources, employee relations or a related field
- Five years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of ER/IR matters including interpretation of legislation and modern awards
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
