Yarrabee currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Advisor to join the team on a permanent full time basis.

About the Role

The Senior HR Advisor effectively partners with stakeholders to drive the Yarrabee Way Culture, Yancoal Our Way, Employee Lifecycle activities and Continuous Improvement and Plan on a Page initiatives in a consistent and best practice manner. The Senior HR Advisor assists the Site Leadership Team in driving the HR team to provide proactive and effective HR support to the site. The Senior HR Advisor successfully leads HR initiatives through strong influencing and clear communication to key stakeholders to deliver site aligned outcomes.

Roster: Monday to Friday

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resource management or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to build rapport, trust and confidence with staff and build strong working relationships.
  • Ability to plan and organise self and others to ensure the completion of tasks and to manage and support others to succeed in their roles.
  • Sound HR-related advice and guidance on matters such as company policy, award/agreement interpretation, employee relations, industrial relations, leave management, performance management and conflict resolution;
  • Knowledge on resourcing, remuneration policies, staff engagement, employee recognition, workforce planning and other HR initiatives and programs;
  • Ability to facilitate regular HR reporting and data analytics, including turnover and end of month; and developing and continually improving HR standards, guidelines, policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Previous experience using SAP is preferable, and a high proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
