Senior HSET Advisor - Maintenance
Pit N Portal have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HSET Advisor – Maintenance to join the team. Based at our Maddington Office, this role will report to HSE Manager.

Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and provide proactive HSET advice and hands-on assistance to Pit N Portal maintenance operations ensuring that all safety systems are implemented and adhered to, to deliver the Emeco Group safety vision of zero injuries and zero incidents.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of current legislative requirements and ensure these requirements are applied effectively in the workplace.
- Actively support the development and maintenance of the maintenance departments health, safety and training management system
- Actively facilitate and participate in toolbox and pre-start meetings and ensure records are maintained
- Develop, coordinate and deliver HSE training programs to the workforce and management including HSE, inductions and any other required training.
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Ideally from a trade background with proven experience in a similar role;
- High level knowledge and experience in Health, Safety and/or Environment and Training
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build successful and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Safety and/or Environment
- Certification in Workplace Auditing and Workplace Investigations (e.g. ICAM or similar)
- Valid "C Class" Manual Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Working Rights within Australia
