Senior Maintenance Planner

Work Location: Fortescue Centre & Bennett St

• Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting to Engineering and Planning Superintendent, the Senior Maintenance Planner shall be responsible for developing the weekly maintenance plans, drive improvement in the work management process and provide key output from SAP for budget development and asset management. To be successful, the role will require the candidate to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders such as supervisors, superintendents and engineers as well as engage external stakeholders from other departments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of Work Management processes
• Work with Key stakeholders to develop and manage maintenance plans
• SAP Master data experience in: Floc, Plan, Item and Task list creation, Plan Management
• Act as conduit between key stakeholders such as Asset Management, Inventory, Commercial and site based teams
• Working within the ACLM tool
• Support and development of detailed CAPEX and OPEX budgets for Superintendent team
• Drive continuous improvement in work management space for the department by conducting regular reviews, training and development

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in dewatering maintenance or similar field within mining environment
• A relevant trade qualification and 5 years’ experience as a maintenance planner
• Working experience with maintenance management systems and experience as a planner using SAP
• Knowledge and demonstrated use of MS Office with Intermediate skills in MS Excel
• Strong team player and previous management experience will be highly regarded
