About the Role

Reporting to the Reliability & Planning Superintendent, the Senior Maintenance Planner is responsible for the Providing Support and Guidance to Maintenance Planning Team and taking on planning and scheduling of general preventative maintenance activities, major component change outs and overhauls, condition monitoring, major planned repairs and warranty follow-up as required. Also included is Improving Reliability and Availability and MTBF of current Equipment at Yarrabee Mine.

About You

This role is pivotal in providing planned maintenance culture in relationship to the reliability and availability of Yarrabee Coal Company mining equipment to allow production efficiencies throughout mining and maintenance.

The successful applicant will:

• Hold a Trade or Tertiary qualification
• Previous Experience leading and developing a Team of Maintenance Planners and Schedulers
• Demonstrated Long Term Planning Experience including Heavy Mining Equipment Shutdowns
• Previous experience at Training new people in SAP CMMS and work management solutions
• Previous Experience with XERAS or similar budgeting Software
• S1,2,3, G2 - Mine supervisor competencies
• Current Qld Driver’s licence
• Extensive experience monitoring and producing maintenance schedules incorporating Maintenance hours, service estimates and component replacement
• Previous experience communicating maintenance schedules at planning meetings and ensuring follow ups regarding implementation of recommendations
