Senior Maintenance Planner – fixed plant

Work Location: Iron Bridge

Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

Roster: 8D/6R or 4D/3R FIFO ex Perth

Role overview:

The Senior Maintenance Planner leads a team who believe in challenging the norm using their experience and passion for innovation in maintenance planning to find ways of making our site safer and more productive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coach a team of planners in the development of maintenance plans with close collaboration with execution teams.
  • Drive compliance to the FMG standards and statutory obligations and embedding in SAP
  • Implement key work management KPI’s for the execution teams;
  • Work with the long-term planners to initiate maintenance strategies in SAP;
  • Ensure all inputs from up-stream and external suppliers are delivered to meet requirements;
  • Provide input to maintenance budgeting requirements.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Current or previous experience in maintenance leadership roles
  • Working experience of SAP
  • Sound knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regulations
  • Sound organisational, communicational and presentation skills
  • Experience in Greenfield Operations desirable but not essential
