Senior Management Accountant

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Management Accountant for a maximum term contract role to join our motivated and results driven finance team in Brisbane. Reporting to the General Manager, the role will provide reporting to key stakeholders, a broad range of management and financial accounting, financial modelling and general commercial support to the business.

About the Role

• Liaise with business units to analyse, interrogate and report on major projects and profitability and cash flow performance.
• Consolidate MBU group results, review individual MBU results and reconciliation to group consolidation by legal entity.
• Participate in monthly BU meetings to improve understanding of operations.
• Develop and maintain project budget and forecast models and reporting templates.
• Consolidation of the business planning cycle.

About You

• CPA or CA qualified
• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience with exposure to medium sized public companies.
• Strong management accounting and financial modelling skills.
• Experience utilizing SAP4hana software.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to further develop company stakeholder relationships.
• Experience within surface mining operations is preferred.
