Position Title: Senior Officer Category Management

Work Location: Perth. Fortescue Centre is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Role overview:

This role will look after the >10ML of Lubricants consumed across Fortescue & Iron Bridge’s sites, and oversee the day-to-day contract management of the diesel supply agreements.

The successful candidate will find satisfaction in bringing value at the individual stock keeping level and engaging with sites and subject matter experts through the delivery of safety, logistical, efficiency improvements, through to large contract negotiations.

This lends itself to a person with a strong sense of operational awareness and detail focus (strong SAP background) and happy to work independently, building on the work that has been done previously.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Contract management to maximise value and support to site
• Manage pricing raise and fall events for diesel and lubricants
• Raise purchase requisitions and ensure close of old purchase orders

Education and Experience:

The candidate will have strong communication skills and methodical approach to work and be able to succinctly report on progress.

• Proficient with SAP, essential 
• Understand MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• Experience with Contract Management systems, such as Ariba
