Senior Planner

Work location: Perth, WA

Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting the Manager Planning, we have an opportunity for an experienced Project Planner to join our team in Perth. 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop multiple study / project plans simultaneously within target timeframes.
• Review and seek information from internal and external stakeholders to ensure all scopes have the relevant information to execute the task to a high standard.
• Maintain the integrity of the project schedule ensuring logic is sound.
• Develop basis of schedules for the various phases.
• Ability to apply Earned Value Management techniques to measure/status and monitor progress and performance.
• Accurate and timely issuing of both the weekly and month end reports.
• Analysing contractor project schedules / progress and integration of contractor schedules into the master program.
• Conducting schedule workshops, risk reviews and change management processes.
• Establish positive working relationships with all parties involved.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Desirable: Tertiary qualification in engineering or internationally accredited project controls certification.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a project planner (essential)
• Client-Side experience to have exposure to full project life cycle, from concept through to execution, and the associated gate movements.
• Strong communication skills, ability to interface with project and corporate stakeholders.
• Advanced skills Primavera P6, MS Office Suite, Business Intelligence tools like Power BI
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision, and within a team
