Senior Planner
Work location: Perth, WA
Roster: Monday to Friday
Reporting the Manager Planning, we have an opportunity for an experienced Project Planner to join our team in Perth.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop multiple study / project plans simultaneously within target timeframes.
- Review and seek information from internal and external stakeholders to ensure all scopes have the relevant information to execute the task to a high standard.
- Maintain the integrity of the project schedule ensuring logic is sound.
- Develop basis of schedules for the various phases.
- Ability to apply Earned Value Management techniques to measure/status and monitor progress and performance.
- Accurate and timely issuing of both the weekly and month end reports.
- Analysing contractor project schedules / progress and integration of contractor schedules into the master program.
- Conducting schedule workshops, risk reviews and change management processes.
- Establish positive working relationships with all parties involved.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Desirable: Tertiary qualification in engineering or internationally accredited project controls certification.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a project planner (essential)
- Client-Side experience to have exposure to full project life cycle, from concept through to execution, and the associated gate movements.
- Strong communication skills, ability to interface with project and corporate stakeholders.
- Advanced skills Primavera P6, MS Office Suite, Business Intelligence tools like Power BI
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision, and within a team
