ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Planning & Control, as Senior Planner, the purpose of this role is to facilitate the governance and reporting of work management and metrics within their area, assist in the development and mentoring of work management planners and perform work management planner activities. Depending on departmental structure leading a team of work management planners.

This role is a Permanent position working a 40-hour week DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes – bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities.  

As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.  

key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Ensure Compliance to work management processes to enable safe work practices to minimise the risk associated with the working environment to employees and contractors.
• Monitor and report on work management KPI’s including statutory plans and reporting.
• Develop planning systems procedures including workflows to deliver a planning excellence.
• Facilitate the design of maintenance work that is both safe and environmentally sound.
• Manage and report on budgets to ensure cost control.
• Provide direction and support to those within work management teams.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Work management Planners.

ABOUT YOU 

• Strong leadership skills with a highly developed collaborative and inclusive leadership style to achieve goals.
• Proficiency in CMMS systems and software such as SAP, MS Office, and MS Project
• High functionality of SAP’s Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
• A pro-active approach to resolving issues, achieving results and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications for this position are:

• Trade qualification or formal process operator qualification.

• Desirable: Graduate Certificate or Diploma relevant to Work Management.
• Desirable: Electrical Background and/or qualifications.
