About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Asset West, you will be ensuring that revenue increases and commitments for LOA and 5YP have been delivered in WAIO / NiW. You will also be accountable for the reporting of the tonnes.
As part of your governance role over the Technology portfolio, you will be responsible for the preparation of Capital budgets on behalf of all of Technology portfolio and lead/support any work associated with capital.
Your core responsibilities will be:
- Establish Project Controls structures that enable visibility on capital project value tracking/project accounting
- Utilises SPMF, Risk Management process standards and practices are being used in project justifications from a governance perspective and aligned with finance and accounting guidance
- Identification and delivery of best for fit cost and schedule reporting solutions
- Confirm benefits associated with the Asset investment into Technology for 5YP/2YB
- Provide support and insights based on project data captured reducing delivery delays and Supplementary Approval Requests (SARs)
- Work with Asset (WAIO and NiW) PMO’s and Decision Evaluation on providing transparency on the portfolio, portfolio reporting, prioritisation and taking lead on Asset requests working with the HO Asset West
- Support submissions to Investment Review Committee (IRC)
- Track and report on overall team CAPEX spend vs forecast
- Identify and drive opportunities for Technology capital cost reductions enabling high capital efficiency
- Work with Technology leaders on Asset prioritisation sessions, monthly reporting, improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Technology Finance Business Partner team during budgeting cycles and financial approvals
- Preparation of President level functional cost presentations and reports
- Maintain the integrity of the project portfolio’s WBS lists, provide technical expertise to PM’s when they obtain approval for phase funding and request with Fixed Asset (GAS KL)
- Chair the monthly Capital End of Month (EOM) meetings.
About You
- Strong experience with Budgeting and Reporting activities (Capex, Opex, budget management)
- Experience working autonomously with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and liaise with various stakeholders across all levels
- Experience in SAP is highly desirable
