About The Role

Working within the Reliability & Planning department, you will be responsible for the management of equipment maintenance systems and productive operation of heavy mobile mining equipment at Maules Creek mine. This role is considered local, so required to live in or relocate to the Gunnedah area in regional NSW. The roster will be based around a 9 day fortnight.

What You’ll Do

  • Appropriate planning of resources, parts, equipment and tools to ensure work progresses on weekly schedules in an effective and safe manner
  • Cost management through optimised maintenance planning with adherence to supply policy and contractor management
  • Ordering parts/services, updating stock levels and creating specifications to ensure quality assurance
  • Develop routine activity procedures for re-occurring tasks and assess preventative maintenance inspections

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications
  • Short term or long-term planning experience with mobile mining equipment
  • Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills enabling liaison at all levels of the organisation
  • Extensive experience in mine operations
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • An ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously to meet multiple goals
