About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst / Specialist – Program Management Office (PMO) to provide not only technical capability but also leadership. At a tactical level this involves maintaining and developing procurement reports (dashboards) whilst at a strategic level the role is ‘front facing’ and acts to bring the wider team together towards achieving our financial and non-financial targets.

This role also has a part to play in influencing the strategic direction of the Business Partner (BP) Australia and Global Equipment Category procurement teams via the role’s interactions with the leadership team and broader cohort. 

This is a great opportunity for an analytical, Power BI system savvy analyst who has effective stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen and enjoys engaging with an audience of peers and leadership.

 Reporting to the Principal Advisor PMO, you will: 

  • Act as a central representative of the PMO team for reporting and actively support the cohort in achieving financial and non financial targets
  • Provide support in facilitating leadership workshops, presentations and translation of this work to deliver strategic outcomes and meet our priorities
  • Identify or support in the end to end process from assessment through to embedding of system or procurement improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and improve procurement reporting dashboards capturing cost savings, non-financial value and sourcing activities through Power BI
  • Provide support in lifting the level of awareness across the wider procurement team of the valuation guidelines and practices used when determining cost savings
  • Work with stakeholders to define ad-hoc reporting requirements and assist in the process of development, delivery and embedding of the final deliverable
  • Conduct & maintain formal training including support materials for stakeholders in the use of reporting systems
  • Act as a procurement advocate and conduit for system or process changes when participating in working groups and interacting with stakeholders from other teams
  • Co-ordinate and work with peer PMO teams located globally to drive process and business improvements effectively collaborating to deliver shared outcomes
  • Co-ordinate the work activities and coach members within the team

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Strong influencing, strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
  • The confidence to present your exceptional work to stakeholders and engage with senior leaders
  • A degree qualification with experience as an Analyst or Reporting Specialist
  • Proven experience developing reporting dashboards using Power BI or similar
  • Strong Excel technical skills
  • Previous procurement experience would be desirable but not essential
