We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Portfolio Planner to join our Resource Development team in Perth.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced program planner with fantastic stakeholder engagement experience and a strong understanding of project management principles, to continue progressing their career in a dynamic planning function.

Reporting to the Superintendent Planning and Scheduling, Resource Development and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the Resource Development Team, you will be:

  • Leading the planning and scheduling of resource development drilling operations to ensure resilient and predictable operational plans
  • Engaging and collaborating with technical scope owners, Site based operational teams and a broad range of license to operate stakeholders across the business
  • Lead a team of Planners within the broader Resource Development Planning team
  • Project Manage through setting assumptions, identifying scope constraints, mitigating risks and developing contingency plans
  • Contribute towards a strong safety culture across Resource Development through leadership in the field and championing safety improvements
  • Coordinate & comply with ground disturbance approvals required for Resource Development activities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within team, demonstrated through effective team engagement and leadership
  • Identify, track, and communicate conformance to plan against scope and program level

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Expertise in planning and scheduling production/mine planning or evaluation and exploration projects
  • Familiarity across Resource Development operations (site experience advantageous, with breadth across multiple areas/functions, e.g., geology, hydrogeology, survey, etc.)
  • Advanced Project Management experience
  • Experience in effectively collaborating with stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and manage an evolving workload
  • Outside the box and solutions focused thinking

Where you’ll be working

This role is based in Perth, at our head office in Central Park, and working Monday to Friday. We want you to have a great work/life balance, so the days, hours, location of work are flexible (including working from home). You may be required to travel to the Pilbara to support our customers on an as required basis.
