About the role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV). Our CMJV consists of 3 open-cut operations located approximately 140 kilometers southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverised coal (LV-PCI) for export markets. This role is flexible and can be residential from Moranbah/ Nebo DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane, on a 9 day fornight roster.
Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, the scope of your role will include the delivery of production against targets through the provision of effective process engineering input in to CHPP operations.
Duties will include:
- Support and coach safety improvements across both CMJVs CHPPs and the broader mine site
- Work collaboratively with a high performing and agile team to deliver on all safety, quality and productivity goals
- Provide leadership, coaching and development on to the production teams to build their capabilities in process trouble shooting and metallurgical performance
- Monitor and manage the metallurgical performance of the CHPP including identifying opportunities for improvement
- Day to day reporting and reagent management for the CHPPs various stakeholders
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement them through projects
The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 9 day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle. Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and may have the ability to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments.

- Bachelor of Engineering (Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering)
