ABOUT THE ROLE 

This is a Permanent position that offers you the opportunity to be based at either our Worsley Alumina Refinery near Collie, or, our office in Perth.

Depending on your location preference, the role will require travel to Perth to interact with engineering vendors and suppliers or to the Worsley refinery to engage site stakeholders.

As the Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects across various commodities and countries, ensuring compliance with the Major Projects Process and Engineering Team standards.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Design projects to meet stakeholder requirements for the Major Projects pipeline.
• Apply Safety in Design (SiD) principles to ensure safe execution, operation, and disposal, following the S32 Major Projects safety roadmap.
• Coordinate between Major Projects Studies, Execution, Asset Operations teams, ESP, supply vendors, and construction contractors.
• Manage project lifecycle from concept to closeout for smooth and effective design delivery.
• Complete assigned project tasks safely, on time, and to asset and quality standards.

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Significant experience in a similar engineering role within heavy industry, or equivalent relevant experience
• Expert knowledge gained in mineral processing, with a focus on hydrometallurgy
• Familiarity with operating facilities, mines, or other major industrial projects
• Proven ability in developing project and engineering deliverables
• Ability to facilitate teamwork and promote collaboration within an organisation

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Bachelors degree in relevant discipline such as Process, Chemical, Metallurgy Engineering, or Chemistry
