Senior Process & Quality Engineer 
The CHPP Senior Process Quality Engineer is accountable for the quality management of all coal-processing activities within the CHPP including ROM, product coal, product coal stacking and blend plans for train loading. 
Duties include, but not limited to;
  • Working in a team environment and coordinating coal preparation activities in a cost-effective and efficient manner in accordance with weekly operating plans and budgets by maintaining optimum work practices, maximising productivity and ensuring effective utilisation of plant and resources
  • Leading Business Improvement initiatives focusing on increased operating hours and enhancing plant efficiencies and yield..
  • Provide technical direction to the CHPP Production and Maintenance teams to enable optimum process performance
  • Effectively carry out accountabilities of a Contract Supervisor under the Contractor Management Standard as required, including the Management of Contractors in accordance with Contractor Management Standard.|

  •  Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (engineering or science)
  •  Previous experience in coal preparation activities (desirable) 
  •  Process measurement and optimization skills.
  •  Well-developed data interpretation and analysis skills.
  •  Problem solving skills and computer literacy
