Senior Project Manager

Work Location: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivery and management of projects on brownfield sites.
• Stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders which include internal Operational Projects personal, contractors, consultants, and the broader Fortescue family
• Drive schedule improvements to reduce delivery timeframes safely
• Deliver cost and capital effective solutions to improve the project’s capital intensity whilst delivering the projects scope on time and within budget safely
• Provide effective and strategic reporting and communications of project performance on a regular basis
• Demonstrated experience to deliver unique projects safely and on time.
• Interpret and implement Engineering design discipline and specification.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High commitment to safety and good knowledge of lifecycle hazards
• Extensive Project Management experience including the delivery of large, complex and multi discipline projects 10 years’ experience
• Experience with project budgeting and cost control and monthly forecasting
• Experience managing multiple contractor groups
• Ability to successfully engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Excellent interpersonal awareness with ability to lead and motivate teams
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence. Results driven, responsible and accountable
• Ability to manage under pressure and adapt quicky to change. Great problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
