Senior Project Manager
Work Location: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivery and management of projects on brownfield sites.
- Stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders which include internal Operational Projects personal, contractors, consultants, and the broader Fortescue family
- Drive schedule improvements to reduce delivery timeframes safely
- Deliver cost and capital effective solutions to improve the project’s capital intensity whilst delivering the projects scope on time and within budget safely
- Provide effective and strategic reporting and communications of project performance on a regular basis
- Demonstrated experience to deliver unique projects safely and on time.
- Interpret and implement Engineering design discipline and specification.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High commitment to safety and good knowledge of lifecycle hazards
- Extensive Project Management experience including the delivery of large, complex and multi discipline projects 10 years’ experience
- Experience with project budgeting and cost control and monthly forecasting
- Experience managing multiple contractor groups
- Ability to successfully engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Excellent interpersonal awareness with ability to lead and motivate teams
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence. Results driven, responsible and accountable
- Ability to manage under pressure and adapt quicky to change. Great problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
