Senior Project Manager - Hydrogen Production Systems (HPS)

Work location: Dawson Road, Perth Airport

Roster: Monday to Friday

The role of the Senior Project Manager will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects from feasibility to execution and customer handover, across Hydrogen Production System projects.  This role will require a self-sufficient individual who can drive outcomes, communicate with stakeholders at all levels and show initiative to bring new leading-edge technology to market

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement the Project Management Governance Framework utilising standardized templates and tools to deliver hydrogen projects
  • Develop project setup documentation and lead the project process phases from scoping through execution and handover
  • Actively lead budgeting, scheduling, resourcing and risk management across projects
  • Responsible for managing change and capturing lessons learnt
  • Cooperating and communicating with the technical leads and package engineers and other project stakeholders to maintain the project's objectives and stretch targets 
  • Developing scopes of work for EOI and tender, working closely with the Contracts and procurement team
  • Lead meetings both internally and externally
  • Develop and maintain project action registers and trackers 
  • Responsible for regular formal project update reporting to management 
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and adherence to Process Safety requirements and FFI HSE policies

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Qualifications in Project Management and/or Engineering
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in project management or similar role
  • Experience within the hydrogen or energy sector, and in complex technology or engineering development projects would be preferable
  • Excellent analytical reporting and communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in collaboration with other like-minded team members and adjacent project teams
  • Highly responsible and trustworthy
  • Excellent organisational, time management, leadership and decision-making skills
  • Experience with project development, community consultation, environmental planning and permitting
  • Demonstrated technical, project management and leadership skills in multi-disciplinary projects
  • Diversity of experience across whole-of-life phases, functions and process in complex projects
