About the Role

• Provide direct technical and maintenance engineering support for all sites and central maintenance activities
• Assist the site maintenance departments to make well informed decision and cost-effective solutions with minimal impact to production
• Undertake failure analysis to determine root cause and proactively implement regimes to improve initiative to prevent reoccurrences
• Identify and develop, or where required, escalate to the OEM to provide engineering solutions to address repetitive failures, high downtime, labour or cost failures and other problems that adversely affect mobile plant performance
   

Responsibilities

• Report and advise on Plant health issues
• Ensure defect elimination Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and actions are completed in a timely manner and with a high level of quality
• Evaluate mobile equipment performance and the effectiveness of the processes and procedures designed to support their performance
• Accurately track and analyse production losses and abnormally high maintenance cost assets events and feed opportunities for improvements into the Defect Elimination Process
• Investigate failed parts and components and feed defects into the Defect Elimination Process, including expediting failure reports from OEM's and capturing these activities on the Register
• Lead & Own SAP4 Hana Master Data Program Implementation
• Champion safety, integrity and continuous improvement  

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
• Relevant Australian recognised Trade Qualification in field of heavy equipment maintenance
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• SAP4 Hana Maintenance system experience
• Demonstrated high level of analytical ability, trouble shooting and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills plus advanced level experience with computing systems

• Roster: 5:2 Monday to Friday
