Senior Revenue Accountant (12-month secondment)

Work Location: Fortescue Centre. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Principal Corporate Accountant, the role will include revenue accounting and analysis, preparation of monthly period close and liaising with various stakeholders both internal and external. The role is highly integrated with both operations and sales and marketing functions.

Key accountabilities will include: 

• Analysis of revenue results, including identification of drivers for variances from comparative periods, budgets and forecasts
• Perform month end accounting for revenue including journal posting and account reconciliation
• Review and operation of the Anaplan revenue reporting system
• Reconciliation of SAP to the Anaplan revenue system
• Preparation and submission of the quarterly royalty payment
• Liaising with the Sales and Marketing team on revenue matters

Qualifications and skills required:

• CA or CPA qualification
• SAP Experience
• Highly developed excel skills
• Good attention to detail and reconciliation skills
• Good ability to liaise and communicate with stakeholders
