We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the role of Senior Scheduler to join our Cape Lambert B Maintenance team. This role is a great opportunity for a professional leader who is looking to grow their skills to move forward with the business as career opportunities arise.

Reporting to the CLB Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead a small team of Maintenance Integration Supervisors to support the safe and efficient preparation and execution of maintenance at Cape Lambert B. This includes working closely with several internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe and efficient outcomes for maintenance activities. In addition, you will also be responsible for but not limited to:
- Development of shutdown Gantt charts, scheduling of work orders and capacity loading of resources
- Facilitating development of and adherence to the shut management process
- Lead, provide direction and context for the scheduling team
- Take ownership of the shutdown process – providing critical inputs into the scope and schedule
- Lead shutdown meetings and manage attendees
- Managing adherence to the shutdown Gantt by all execution teams
- Manage and escalate any risks to the plan/schedule
- Managing the additional contractor budget for your area of control
- Providing visible safety leadership and support to the team during maintenance execution
- Work with the CLB maintenance teams to enable efficient and safe execution of shutdowns
- Encourage and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement
- Work closely with operations, planning and engineering
What you’ll bring
- Be proactive with a commitment in driving a safe and inclusive team culture
- Have leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing, and coaching planning and scheduling teams
- Strong technical aptitude, strong experience in fixed plant maintenance will be highly regarded
- Experience using SAP and Microsoft Project
- Capable of working in challenging environments whilst maintaining effective time management and organisational skills
- Well-developed analytical and technical competencies that support planning and scheduling processes, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Work Management and Shut Management processes
- Hold a current ‘C’ class driver’s licence

Where you’ll be working
Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.
