SENIOR SCHEDULER – HERITAGE
Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Responsible for development and maintenance of Heritage Schedules and Survey Trip Planning that supports successful and timely achievement of the delivery of Heritage and Native Title activities. The position is responsible for developing schedules and their periodic update to provide guidance on the delivery of Heritage and Native Title approvals and progress reporting. Additionally, the role will plan for the Traditional Owner surveys against the developed schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, baseline, and maintain the Heritage and Native Title schedules for new and existing approvals.
- Hold periodic meetings with the stakeholders to update the schedules to reflect the actual progress.
- Monitor approval progress, status of the schedule and report on progress regularly through meetings and reports, including but not limited to S-Curves, critical path and variance reports.
- Coordinate inter-approval dependencies identification and management including dependencies to shared services teams such as Environment, Studies, Tenements and Acquisitions, Projects, and Strategic Planning.
- Review and issue schedule information to ensure governance over Heritage related scheduling and resource decisions.
- Identify and report potential gaps or obstacles that may compromise the success of Heritage activities in order to troubleshoot and devise appropriate strategies to overcome barriers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7+ years scheduling experience that includes Portfolio scheduling and reporting using a range of technologies (including MS Project, Primavera, SharePoint, and other MS applications).
- Strong organisational, analytical, and writing skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Personable and approachable with a high level of experience in influencing and communicating with a variety of stakeholders to ensure outcomes are delivered.
- Motivated individual able to operate autonomously and develop rapport with key stakeholders.
