About the role
We are seeking an experienced Specialist Reporting & Analytics to join our team in Perth. This role is pivotal in delivering data solutions, from scoping discovery to delivery, and integrating data into business processes to enable effective decision-making. You will collaborate with customers and team members to apply data engineering capabilities to deliver intelligence projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex problems using advanced analytics techniques and to provide technical leadership within the team.

About you

7+ years’ experience in data engineering and analytics, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
Advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX, visualisation, and semantic modelling.
Deep understanding of data modelling (star/snowflake schemas, SCDs, large datasets).
Strong skills in SQL and database management (Azure, SSIS, stored procedures).
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Databricks.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, AWS) and Azure services (Logic Apps, Blob Storage).
Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Experience in the mining industry is highly desirable.
Exposure to time series data (PI systems, historian/control systems) is a plus.
A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor and lead within a team.
