Senior Technology Analyst - HPS
Work location: Perth, WA
Roster: Monday to Friday
Reporting to the Strategy Lead in FFI’s Hydrogen Production Systems (HPS) Department, this role will be responsible for providing technical and business support to enable FFI decision making in the pursuit of strategic opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Steward the HPS Technology Strategy document, providing a holistic, systems-based analysis of product design
- Carrying out research and techno-economic analysis into emerging technologies to provide information to management and make recommendations
- Working closely with Management in the development of Project and Program Business Case, and subsequent input to Board Papers and Executive reports
- Engagement with third parties including OEMs and technology developers to support commercial negotiations for technology acquisitions, partnerships, and JVs
- Work with analysts to identify supply chain capacity/constraints and current and future demand for the HPS business
- Develop a detailed understanding of the Electrolyser Value Chain
- Supporting the HPS Sales & Marketing team in bidding for external and internal deployments of HPS products.
Qualifications and skills required:
- A multiskilled individual with experience and tertiary degree in Engineering or Business Consulting
- Sound comprehension of electrical power systems
- An understanding of existing and emerging technologies across the energy sector
- Excellent communication skills to summarise complex technical and business considerations into impactful presentations and concise reports
- Advanced problem-solving and business analysis techniques, with an ability to report and use financial metrics to represent insights visually
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environment
