Service Cart Operator – Mine Site Based

Emeco is looking for an experienced Service Cart Operator to join our team at a mine site in the Bowen Basin, just 2 hours from Mackay. In this role, you’ll operate the service truck, providing essential servicing for plant, equipment, machinery, and vehicles. You will be responsible for refuelling, re-greasing, and assisting with servicing while supporting general maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the service truck for servicing plant, equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
• Refuel, assist with servicing, and re-grease machinery.
• Provide support for general maintenance activities.
• List, record, and report any damages identified during servicing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Commit to and promote a strong safety culture.

Role Requirements:

• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (mandatory). Please note: We are not offering visa sponsorship.
• Heavy Rigid Truck Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory).
• Previous experience as a Service Truck Operator in the mining industry.
• RIISAM212D - Service mine plant and equipment (mandatory).
• RIIVEH307 - Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle VOC (highly desirable).
• RIIVEH306 - Operate a Mine Service Vehicle VOC (highly desirable).
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organised, and productive work environment.
