Aeris Resources is a base and precious metals mining company which produces Copper, Zinc, Gold and Silver from four mining operations based in Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. The Jaguar Operation is a 1km deep underground mine producing Zinc, Copper and Silver utilising longhole open stoping with cemented rockfill mining methods.
Jaguar now have an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified candidates for the position of Underground Service Crew Operator, based at our Jaguar mine site, which is located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie. This role is permanent, on a 14:7 FIFO roster from Perth.
The role
- Inspect, repair and install various services including ventilation ducting, air & water pipelines, dewatering pump lines and firing lines
- Installation of secondary ventilation fans
- Install additional ground support e.g. cable bolts
- Transportation and delivery of underground mining consumables to assist in infrastructure maintenance and installation
- Operating Integrated Tool Carriers and Flatbed Trucks
About you
- Minimum 1 year working in an underground mine
- Working at Heights certificate
- Identify hazards and complete JSEA
- National Police Clearance within 6 months
- C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
- You must be either an Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
