Service Crew Trainer

To support our growth, we are seeking applications for experienced Service Crew Trainers or experienced Service Crew with a IV Training Qualification looking to take the next step, to join the Barminco team. Key Responsibilities:

• Hands on training for service crew personnel.
• Check the progress of service crew personnel to ensure training pathways are followed.
• Continually review training material and assessment documentation for relevance and accuracy.
• Ensure service crew personnel are fully conversant and compliant with all safety and operational aspects of the vehicles/machinery they will be operating.
• Ensure the correct current documents are used for training purposes.
• Actively participate in developing and improving training processes on site.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to site trainers to ensure continuity and consistency of training standards.
• Ensure all training is recorded appropriately and accurately in a timely manner.

Key Requirements 

• Extensive underground service crew experience.
• Hold a IV training Qualification 
• The ability to mentor and train employees with little or no previous service crew experience. To assist these employees to achieve a high level of situational and safety awareness as well as the required skills to complete their task safely and efficiently.
• Extensive experience working in underground mining
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates and licences (RPL’s)
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver’s Licence)
