Our Opportunity

Work Location: Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

Roster: 7D7N14X - FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the Solomon fleet operating at peak performance. By delivering safe, efficient, and proactive maintenance on our trucks, you’ll enhance reliability, reduce downtime, and directly support the achievement of site production targets. 

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain trucks and supporting equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Carry out refuelling, lubrication, and routine fluid checks with precision
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximise reliability
• Inspect equipment for faults and promptly report any issues
• Support tradespersons with repairs and breakdown response
• Keep service vehicles and tools well-maintained and ready for use
• Adhere to all safety systems, standards, and site procedures
• Complete maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner 

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in mobile plant servicing
• Exposure to large mining trucks preferred
• HR driver’s licence
• High Risk licences advantageous
• Strong safety focus and hazard awareness
• Sound communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills for maintenance systems
