About the Role

The role presents an excellent opportunity for someone with Plant experience, or experience in a lubrication related heavy industrial environment. We are looking for a self-starting, autonomous individual, who will be responsible for the safe execution of all servicing and lubrication works within fixed plant.

Reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor, your day to day duties will include:

  • Maintain fixed plant equipment through sound lubrication principles
  • Oil sampling for offsite analysis
  • Oil change outs on mechanical equipment
  • Routine plant inspections
  • Proactive maintenance activities for all lubricated mechanical equipment
  • Refuelling of plant equipment as required
  • Assisting the maintenance team when required

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

  • A current manual "C" class driver's licence
  • A strong commitment to health and safety for self and others
  • The ability to use hand tools, and have a good understanding of mechanical workings
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic SAP competency
  • Willingness to support and work in other areas of expertise when required
