Service Person (Fixed Plant) – Yandicoogina

• 8:6 permanent days roster

About the Role

The role presents an excellent opportunity for a Service Person with experience in a lubrication related heavy mining environment. We are looking for a self-starting, autonomous individual, who will be responsible for the safe execution of all servicing and lubrication works within fixed plant.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your day to day duties will include:

• Maintain fixed plant equipment through sound lubrication principles
• Oil sampling for offsite analysis
• Oil change outs on mechanical equipment
• Routine plant inspections
• Proactive maintenance activities for all lubricated mechanical equipment
• Refuelling of plant equipment as required
• Assisting the maintenance team when required

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

• A current manual "C" class driver's licence

• A strong commitment to health and safety for self and others
• The ability to multi task and prioritise work
• The ability to use hand tools, and have a good understanding of mechanical workings
• Basic SAP competency

• Willingness to support and work in other areas of expertise when required
