Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, the Service Support Technician is responsible for the following: 

  • Maintain Tool Store with the aid of routine inspections and housekeeping
  • Maintaining free issue consumables, oils, and tooling.
  • Weekly routine inspections, focusing on stocktake, 5S, and housekeeping.
  • Pursue improvement opportunities to enhance Tool Store conditions.
  • Maintain registers e.g. tooling, lifting, WAH, calibrations etc. and aid external auditors to conduct relevant inspections.
  • Complete OGAs for oil samples and transport to stores on the surface
  • Conduct the daily workshop pre-start as part of the shared responsibility amongst the MEM team. 
  • Identify and contribute to workshop housekeeping and improvement projects.
  • Manage / re-stock the fuel bay (transporting pods up and down from the fuel bay and maintaining tank levels)
  • Monitoring logistics supply chain including urgent freight.

About Leinster

About You

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite essential
  • C class manual Driver’s Licence essential
  • Forklift ticket essential 
  • Knowledge and experience as a parts interpreter in an underground environment.
  • Warehousing experience desirable
  • Dogging or Crane ticket desirable
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
